We have been busy this week planting more things, mostly lettuce, onions, and garlic.
| The red cabbages are growing well, even after one of them died from being run over by the dog too many times. |
| We mixed the lettuce and garlic together. Hopefully it will turn out to be something resembling artistic. |

"Can I pee on the peas please?" "NO!" "But is sounds funny!"
It's been good to do things outside again. The monkeys have been 'helping' by digging around already established plants, and also where we already dug and the dirt should be left alone. They are experts on this stuff.
We still have all of our broccoli, which is a good thing. It is one of our favorite vegetables and the monkeys are impatient to harvest it.
Our basil is also getting bigger. Our hope is that it'll be decent size by the time it will be warm enough to plant it outside. Again, so far so good, if the monkeys won't water it to death...
This is one of our lemon grasses. I read that they are supposed to be easy to grow. They're very slow to start, so it puts them at risk for all kinds of things, mostly monkey-related. But I still think this would be a great thing to have around.
Today we planted flower seeds. We have some nasturtiums coming, and baby's breath, scarlet flax, and purple basil. This family uses a lot of basil, so there can't be too much of it.
The rest of these pictures are from our front yard where the daffodils and hyacinths are starting to bloom. The forsythia looks pretty good too. It all means one thing: Spring is here, and Summer is not far.
